I created this site-specific installation while at an artist residency in Marnay-sur-Seine, France. Inspired by the white lace curtains adorning the windows in many of the local village homes and the myriad of delicate spider webs inhabiting the rural landscape, this installation of knit-lace is suspended in a state of unraveling. The process of it’s making and unmaking are one and the same.
