Portfolio > Ephemeral Garden

Installations completed in 2018 during an artist residency at La Maison Verte in Marnay-sur-Seine, France. I published a photography book from this project that was available for a limited time in the shops at MASS MoCA and the ICA Boston. "We understand here that we are not dealing with a painting, in which perspective would create a distance from the object. The opportunity of the immediate surroundings create l’art in situ. The garden has entered the house, the outside is inside; the living in the lifeless is showcased as a subject."
-Didier Rousseau-Navarre, Director Jardin Botanique

"These flowers, that seem to inhabit a timeless and dream-like space, have something sacred to them. It feels like a meditative space where one must stay present and attentive in order to notice what the flowers will do in this room, and how they will adapt. "
-Elisabeth van Sandick, Paradis Vogel Magazine
